RaiserHQ was founded in 2022 with a single mission: to help you digitize fundraising so you can provide a better experience to your supporters in an easier, less stressful way and raise more money.

The idea for FarmRaiser was sparked when our founder’s son brought home candy bars to sell for a school fundraiser. He thought there had to be a better way to raise funds than to sell poor quality, unhealthy products for a small profit margin. FarmRaiser was created to provide a way for organizations to fundraise with products that are healthy, sustainable, and support small and local businesses. All while making a large profit margin compared to traditional product fundraisers. We’re passionate about improving fundraising for everyone and enjoy helping all of our organizations raise funds for worthy causes.

OUR STORY

One day not too long ago, our founder Mark’s son brought home candy bars to sell for a school fundraiser. He thought there has to be a better way to raise funds than to sell poor quality, unhealthy products that only net the organization a small profit margin. Thus was born the idea of FarmRaiser. Our goal was to modernize product fundraising by linking people with products that are healthy, sustainable, and highly desirable all while supporting small and local businesses at the same time. We built out a digital marketplace to connect community organizations with hundreds of suppliers, bringing the product fundraiser online. FarmRaiser provides all the tools you need to run a successful fundraiser with less work while making larger profit margins compared to the traditional approach in the process. 

With the success of FarmRaiser, we soon found our customers want more options to grow their fundraising revenue the way that best fits their needs. We quickly realized there was an opportunity to expand our products and that meant we needed to grow our brand. We created the RaiserHQ family to allow us to bring more solutions to communities and businesses with a variety of needs. We’re passionate about improving fundraising for everyone and enjoy helping all of our organizations raise more funds and small businesses grow their sales for worthy causes. We are truly focused on the needs of the community.

Founder and Head of Growth

Mark is a social impact investor through private foundations and federal government grant making, interested in technology that disrupts systems that produce reliably crappy outcomes. Mark’s experience, interests, and background have given birth to his real passion: changing the Product Fundraising Industry to help schools, boosters, sports teams, etc, by sourcing and selling high-quality products for their fundraisers. If we put the community and local small businesses first, the sky’s the limit!

Andrew

Head of Technology

Andrew holds a Masters in Computer Science from Ivan Franko National University in Lviv, Ukraine and has over 10 years experience working in product development in Marketplaces and SaaS using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js. providing web app development as a service, building valued online platforms, tools and integrations for businesses and charities, suppliers and organizations, helping them to grow their products, fundraising programs, and sales. Andrew is a proud citizen of the Ukraine where he lives with his wife and two young children.

Dana

Customer Experience

Dana has a background in customer service and marketing helping businesses scale for growth. She delights in helping people solve their problems while making sure that her creative side gets expressed once in a while. That’s what makes working with Dana so much fun!

Mariana

Head of Operations

Mariana comes to FarmRaiser with a background in environmental studies and environmental policy. Her previous positions have given her experience in program development, fundraising, and food systems. As a campaign cultivator with FarmRaiser, she will be working with local communities and partners to support FarmRaiser campaigns, and make the world a healthier, more sustainable place.

Farai

Business Manager

Farai has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Economics and Business Management and has many years of experience in business process analytics, evaluation, performance management and continuous improvement management. In her position as Business Manager at RaiserHQ, Farai manages the financially related systems, processes, and activities to ensure the financial and programmatic integrity of Company operations. 

Alex

Tech Quality Assurance

Alex has two years of practical experience in quality assurance (QA) building processes on the project, managing and validating every task, and reporting any actual/valid issues. Alex works in the background to ensure our tech is running smoothly and that your campaigns go off without a hitch. He’s a silent hero!
